Sarajevo Airport has seen its passenger numbers improve in October following a slump the previous month. Bosnia and Herzegovina's busiest airport welcomed 83.660 travellers through its doors, representing an increase of 3.6%. The number of aircraft operations stood at 1.118, up 2.1%. During the January - October period, Sarajevo handled 930.965 passengers, an improvement of 9.5%. Aircraft operations were up 5.3% to 11.659. Late last month, Sarajevo Airport commenced the multi million euro expansion of its terminal building which is scheduled for completion in October 2020.
