Niš Airport's numbers decline in November

NEWS FLASH

Niš Constantine the Great Airport has recorded its second consecutive month of declining passenger numbers. It welcomed 26.209 travellers in November, down 3.1% on the same month last year. The number of aircraft movements decreased 9.4% from 234 to 212. Low cost carrier Ryanair has announced it will discontinue flights between Weeze and Niš at the start of the 2019 summer season, following on from Wizz Air's decision to cancel services from Eindhoven earlier this year, as well as flights from Malmo from January 2019. On the other hand, in mid-November, Wizz introduced three weekly services from Vienna to Niš. Over the elapsed eleven months, Constantine the Great Airport welcomed 323.053 travellers through its doors, representing an increase of 7.2% on last year.
