Croatia Airlines refreshes livery
NEWS FLASH
Croatia Airlines is visually refreshing its aircraft by slightly tweaking its livery, introduced fifteen years ago. As part of its new design, the letters "Croatia" on the fuselage will now be larger, making them more noticeable and recognisable. The Croatian checkerboard symbol, featured on the tail, will now be further extended down the body of the aircraft, while the blue undercarriage becomes white. In a statement to EX-YU Aviation News, Croatia Airlines said, "This year we plan to refresh three Dash 8-Q400 and three Airbus A319 aircraft. The first one, a Dash 8 (registered 9A-CQA), has been painted, and the next five will be done by the end of March 2019. The second stage of the visual exterior modification is planned for next year when the refreshment will be made to the remaining members of the fleet: three Q400s, one A319 and two A320s". The livery, introduced in 2004, was created by Ivanka Ivanković, who serves as the company's Head of Corporate Design.
