Pristina Airport controllers resume strike
NEWS FLASH
Pristina Airport's air traffic controllers are set to resume their industrial action over the weekend, unhappy with low wages and a proposed new law on salaries. Controllers will stage a walk out on both Saturday and Sunday for a twelve-hour period between 08.00 and 20.00, with all traffic to be affected. The General Manager of Pristina Airport, Haldun Firat Kokturk, expressed his concerns over the strike and the disruption it will cause. Mr Kokturk noted that under the concession agreement, all financial losses from the strike incurred by the airport will have to be covered by the government.
