Macedonian and Greek regulators meet
Macedonian and Greek civil aviation authorities have held high-level talks for the first time at a meeting in Skopje. The two sides agreed to start working together on specific projects. "The meeting highlighted the need to deepen mutual cooperation between the regulatory bodies in the field of aviation in the region. Our representatives presented projects for which we require assistance and support from European Union members, in order for us to achieve set goals and development plans. Furthermore, joint efforts were made to share experiences and positive practices for achieving and meeting relevant international standards and recommendations in the field of air transport and transport safety", the Macedonian regulator said. Scheduled flights between the two countries were resumed last November after over a decade.
