PHOTOS: FlyBosnia inaugurates London service

NEWS FLASH

FlyBosnia has launched its first European service from Sarajevo with the airline linking Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital with London Luton Airport three times per week. Among passengers on the inaugural flight were FlyBosnia CEO, Tarik Bilalbegović, and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Matthew Field. Mr Field noted the resumption of flights between Sarajevo and London was a “great step for all” and stressed the development would further strengthen ties between the two countries. Mr Bilalbegović said, “FlyBosnia has ambitious plans for expansion and London is a key destination for us as our first European destination. Other European cities will follow closely behind”. Luton Airport’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jonathan Pollard, added, “We are delighted FlyBosnia has chosen London Luton Airport as its UK base. This is the first and only direct flight to Sarajevo to operate from any UK airport in over a decade, so we are delighted to be part of this success”.
