Montenegro Airlines handled 52.983 passengers last month, representing an increase of 8% compared to last year. During the January - October period, it welcomed 593.939 travellers on board its aircraft, up 3% on 2018. The number of operated flights also grew by 3%. “We are delighted with the results, especially since they were achieved despite strong competition on the market. In recent times, we have witnessed the bankruptcy of several major European airlines, due to difficult conditions and challenges in commercial aviation, which have resulted in tectonic shifts on the European and global martket. Montenegro Airlines has not been spared. In fact, it has never been more difficult to work in this sector. However, with the support of our owners we have achieved excellent results”, Montenegro Airlines’ CEO, Živko Banjević. said.
