Sarajevo Airport closure proposed
NEWS FLASH
The Minister for Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić, said this morning he will insist on the temporary closure of Sarajevo Airport for commercial flights in order to stem the outbreak of the coronavirus Covid-19. Croatia Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Wizz Air are the only three remaining carriers serving Sarajevo, with Turkish to suspend most operations, including Sarajevo, as of this Friday. A passenger arriving on a Croatia Airlines flight from Zagreb last evening was held up at Sarajevo Airport after recording a higher body temperature.
