Wizz Air to suspend Tuzla operations
NEWS FLASH
Low cost carrier Wizz Air will temporarily suspend operations out of its Tuzla base as of tomorrow due to the coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. At this point, flights are set to resume during the first week of April. In a statement, Wizz Air said, “Due to a decrease in demand across the network and various government restrictions on entry, a number of Wizz Air flights are subject to cancellations. Passengers with bookings affected by these cancellations are informed at the earliest possible date and offered a full refund”. It added, “In the majority of cases, if customers have booked directly on wizzair.com or via the airline’s mobile app, 120% of the original fare will automatically be uploaded to the customer’s Wizz account in the form of Wizz credit, which can be used for the purchase of Wizz Air products and services for 24 months”.
