Garuda Indonesia touches down in Belgrade
NEWS FLASH
Garuda Indonesia operated a charter service between Jakarta and Belgrade over the weekend, marking a rare arrival of the south-east Asian carrier to the region. Although the ongoing coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic has seen more exotic traffic and equipment across the former Yugoslavia, the Garuda Boeing 777-300ER aircraft was carrying neither repatriated citizens nor medical cargo. On board was an Indonesian delegation headed by the country’s Minister for Law and Human Rights on an official visit to Serbia. The aircraft is primarily used on Garuda's commercial service between Jakarta and Amsterdam.
