Air Serbia extends charter operations past October
NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia plans to extend its charter operations into November as travel restrictions have limited demand elsewhere. The carrier will operate flights to Turkish resorts on the Mediterranean until the end of October, while services to Egypt will be run during November as well. The carrier has so far operated 224 charter flights since July 5, including 144 to Turkey and eighty to Egypt. Of those, 124 were to Antalya and twenty to Bodrum, while 76 flights were to Hurghada, and four to Sharm El Sheikh. Boško Rupić, the Head of Trade and Corporate Sales at Air Serbia, said, “Having in mind the coronavirus pandemic and predictions that left no room for optimism at the beginning of the summer season, we can say that we are fairly satisfied with the results achieved after all. We owe a great gratitude to our friends, the tour operators, who helped and assisted us in organising charter flights and allowing our passengers to travel to their well-deserved vacations even in these trying times”.
