Zagreb Airport receives ACI health accreditation

NEWS FLASH

Zagreb Airport has become the second in the former Yugoslavia, after Skopje, to be accredited by Airports Council International (ACI) in ACI’s Airport Health Accreditation Program, a new international health benchmark for airports around the world, designed to help reassure the travelling public that airport facilities remain safe and that precautions are being taken to reduce any risk to their health. According to ACI, 350 airports around the world have so far applied for the Airport Health Accreditation Program Certificate, while over sixty of them have received it so far. The General Manager of Zagreb Airport, Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, said, “We are extremely proud of this recognition. We are among the first airports in Europe to attain the certificate and have proved our dedication to safeguarding the health and safety of our passengers and employees, which is a prerequisite for the complete recovery of traffic at the airport”.
