Airlines park aircraft at Ljubljana Airport

Part of Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport’s platform is currently being used by airlines to park their aircraft, which have been grounded as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. One of the main customers is Swiss International Air Lines which currently has six Airbus A320s and one A321 on the ground in the Slovenian capital, while its subsidiary Edelweiss Air also has one A320 stored in Ljubljana. The Avia Prime Group, which owns maintenance company Adria Tehnika has a capacity to park 41 narrow-body aircraft In Ljubljana and five narrow-body parking options in Maribor. As the owner of Jat Tehnika, it also offers five wide-body parking options in Belgrade.
