Air Serbia to boost Moscow service
NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia will increase its frequencies between Belgrade and Moscow to three per week after operations were capped at two weekly by Russian authorities for each carrier. The Serbian airline will add an extra weekly rotation from February 28. It comes as the Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate issued permits for Nordwind Airlines to operate scheduled instead of charter flights between the two capital cities, increasing the number of weekly flights operated by Russian carriers to three, with two weekly services run by Aeroflot. As a result, the number of weekly departures has now been reciprocated on each side. Demand for flights between the two countries remains high. Aeroflot has again scheduled a widebody Airbus A330-300 jet to operate its Saturday rotation this week.
