Ellinair to restore Belgrade flights
NEWS FLASH
Greek leisure carrier Ellianair has announced the resumption of flights between Heraklion and Belgrade this coming summer season. Services will resume on June 3 and operate once per week until September 27 with the Airbus A320 aircraft. Tickets for the flights can be purchased via the airline’s website or through tour packages offered by partner company Mouzenidis Travel. The airline did not maintain operations between the two cities last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Serbia and Greece are soon expected to sign a memorandum on travel conditions for the upcoming summer, which would enable vaccinated travellers from Serbia entry into Greece without any restrictions, while others would have to hold a negative Covid-19 PCR test. Greece has banned entry for the majority of Serbian citizens since July 2020 due to the epidemiological situation.
