Wizz Air to launch Belgrade - Abu Dhabi service
Wizz Air will commence its first transcontinental service from Belgrade with the introduction of flights to Abu Dhabi. The two weekly service will commence on May 19 and run each Wednesday and Sunday. Flights will be operated by the carrier's newly established Abu Dhabi unit and its Airbus A321 aircraft. The airline replaces Etihad Airways, which terminated its flights to the Serbian capital in October of last year. Abu Dhabi becomes Wizz Air's fifth new route from Belgrade this year following Hamburg, Sandefjord, Heraklion and Santorini.
