Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport’s expanded new terminal building has formally entered into use, with passengers having the ability to utilise the new facilities as of today. Numerous flights have been allocated one of thirteen gates located in the expanded part of the terminal building. Today also marked the start of centralised security screening at Belgrade Airport, ending over two decades of individual security checks at each gate. The centralised security, boasting seven lanes, is located in the old part of the terminal building, in front of passport control. Changes are also visible in the old piers which are being oveoverhauled to correspond to the new facilities
