PHOTOS: Transavia launches new Ljubljana service
Low cost carrier Transavia introduced flights between Paris Orly and Ljubljana late last week, complementing its existing operations from Amsterdam. Services will run twice per week, with Ljubljana Airport expecting the flights to operate on a year-round basis. “Transavia France brings value for our Paris operations. The French capital is very popular among Ljubljana Airport's passengers. These new flights will be a perfect choice for those who would like to experience Paris on a weekend getaway, and vice versa for tourists from France, who are planning to visit our beautiful country. We firmly believe that the connection will live up to the carrier's expectations and, with favourable epidemiological conditions in the autumn and continued recovery in travel demand, will be able to grow into a long-term addition to our network”, the Head of Airline Management at operator Fraport Slovenija, Janez Krašnja, said. The airport expects for Transavia to handle some 20.000 passengers per year on the route. Air France maintains services between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and the Slovenian capital.
