Adria HQ buyer revealed
NNEWS FLASH
Adria Airways’ former head office near Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which was sold for 4.25 million euros in June, was purchased by Optotek, an optical and laser equipment maker for refractive surgery. The company plans to move its headquarters to the building in January. The facility was built by Adria Airways in 2009. It boasts 4.473 square meters of space over four floors that includes offices, classrooms, a warehouse, and parking lots. The land is owned by the state, with which Adria concluded an agreement to develop over a thirty-year period with the possibility of extending it for up to ninety years for an annual fee of around 50.000 euros. Adria Airways declared bankruptcy in September 2019. The sale of its assets will fund claims filed against the defunct carrier by hundreds of entities, including over forty airlines and airports.
