Air Serbia and American Airlines expand partnership

Air Serbia has expanded its interline partnership with American Airlines offering passengers connections between Belgrade and over seventy additional destinations in the United States. By expanding the interline partnership and adding Chicago to the Serbian national airline’s network from May 17, it will be easier to reach Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Miami, San Antonio, Denver, Orlando, Jacksonville, Boston, Portland, Tampa, Houston, New Orleans, Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Nashville, Washington, Memphis, Omaha, Springfield and many other cities from Belgrade. Commenting on the development, Air Serbia’s Manager for International Affairs and Alliances, Ivana Miklja Mučalov, said, “We are very satisfied with the expansion of the partnership between our two companies. This way, we enable passengers to reach numerous destinations in the USA via Belgrade. The launch of nonstop flights between Belgrade and Chicago has greatly contributed to this expansion. With the commencement of this route, and with a reliable partner like American Airlines, our passengers will be able to reach all parts of USA easier and quicker”. Air Serbia had previously said it plans to conclude a codeshare agreement with a major US carrier.
