Zagreb Airport registers busiest January on record

Zagreb Airport saw its busiest start to the year in January by handling 221.747 passengers. The figure represents an increase of 58.2% on last year and 9.2% on the pre-pandemic January of 2020. The number of aircraft movements stood at 3.255. Zagreb Airport has said it expects to register solid growth throughout the year. The airport will see the addition of one new route this year so far, to the Greek island of Kos, which will be launched on June 2 by Ryanair.
