Mostar eyes Wizz Air flights in 2024

Mostar is hopeful Wizz Air will commence flights to the airport in 2024, after the two sides inked an agreement last year for the airline to launch operations. At the time, Mostar Airport announced the low cost carrier would commence flights during 2023, however, it now says services may begin next year instead. “We signed a contract with Wizz Air but flights to the agreed destinations have not been introduced yet as they [Wizz Air] have internal issues. We hope they will commence scheduled flights from Mostar in 2024”, Nedeljko Ćorić, the Head of the airport’s Commercial Department, said. The exact number of routes Wizz would commence from Mostar has never been revealed, however, the two sides had previously discussed services from Scandinavia and Germany, with Malmo and Dortmund initially suggested.
