Oman’s Salam Air to restore Sarajevo, eyes new routes

Omani low cost carrier Salam Air will resume seasonal flights between Muscat and Sarajevo this summer with a two weekly service to commence on July 2. Flights will run on Wednesdays and Sundays with the 212-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft until September 6. The carrier has said it is also looking into a number of new routes in Eastern Europe. “Salam Air is currently undertaking an economic study of twenty new tourist destinations in Europe and Eastern Europe. The objective is to attract tourists to the Sultanate of Oman and invigorate the tourism industry. This initiative aims to enhance the movement of tourists through Muscat and Salalah international airports“, the airline said.
