Air Serbia unveils new retail shop

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has today unveiled details of what it calls a “state-of-the-art” retail shop set to open on September 1 in Belgrade. As previously reported by EX-YU Aviation News, the new facility will be located on the second floor of the Galerija Shopping Mall in the exclusive Belgrade Waterfront neighbourhood. The retail shop will be open from ten in the morning until ten in the evening, seven days per week. “In this modern, futuristic, and vibrant space, passengers will be able to purchase flight tickets or obtain information on everything related to the national carrier’s services to over eighty destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. Well-known symbols of Air Serbia and all elements of its corporate identity will be integrated into a pleasant and functional space”, the company said. The airline’s CEO, Jiri Marek, noted, “The expansion of our destination network and the improvement of business has led to an increased demand for tickets, especially on weekends, as evidenced at our retail shop in Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra on Saturdays. In order to offer passengers additional options for purchasing airline tickets, we have tried to find a location that would be open throughout the week and easily accessible. Our new retail shop can be reached by elevator in just a few minutes. Weekend, snow, rain, heat, will no longer be hindering factors for those who plan trips and need to reach their desired destination”. Air Serbia already operates three retail shops in Belgrade - one at its headquarters, another downtown and one at the airport.
