Edelweiss schedules wide-body Pristina flights
NEWS FLASH
Switzerland's Edelweiss Air will utilise its wide-body Airbus A340-300 aircraft between Zurich and Pristina over the height of the summer season to meet increased demand. According to the “AeroRoutes” portal, the 314-seat jet will be deployed on the route starting July 16, each Thursday and Saturday until the end of the month. This is likely to be extended through August as well. Edelweiss has deployed the twin-aisle aircraft on its Pristina service over the high summer season for several years. The quadjet features 27 seats in business class, 76 in economy max, and the remaining 211 seats in its standard economy cabin. Edelweiss was the tenth busiest airline in Pristina last year, handling 127.936 passengers. Zurich itself was Pristina’s second busiest destination after Basel. The Swiss airline usually deploys it A320 jet on the route.
