Zagreb Airport sees record June but growth slows
NEWS FLASH
Zagreb Airport registered its busiest June on record by handling 347.019 passengers during the month. The figure represents an increase of 18.5% on last year and up 3.1% on the pre-pandemic 2019. The passenger growth rate notably slowed in May and June compared to the rest of the first half of the year. The slowdown in May was attributed to night-time runway work which led to the cancellation of over a hundred flights. During the six-month period, Zagreb Airport welcomed 1.693.512 travellers, up 30.3% and 10.4% on 2022 and 2019 respectively.
