Swiss to boost Ljubljana service

Swiss International Air Lines will increase frequencies on its Zurich - Ljubljana service during the 2024 summer season. Starting March 31, the carrier plans to operate double daily flights between the two cities, up from ten weekly during the 2023 summer. Equipment will vary throughout next year with A220s, A320s, A320neos, E190s and E190 E2s all scheduled on the route, with the latter two operated by Helvetic Airways on Swiss’ behalf. Swiss handled 81.963 passengers on its Ljubljana service during the January - October period, with an average cabin load factor of close to 80%. Passenger numbers are up 10.7% on the same period in 2019.
