Sarajevo Airport's figures surge in June

Sarajevo Airport has seen its passenger numbers grow almost 30% in June on the back of the launch of a number of new routes to Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital. During the month, Sarajevo handled a record 119.205 travellers. Aircraft movements grew 21.3% to 1.419. The airport saw 457.734 passengers pass through its doors during the first half of the year, up 6.4%. The number of aircraft movements stood at 6.207 over the same period, an increase of 0.7%.
