Croatia Airlines introduces seat selection fee
NEWS FLASH
Croatia Airlines has today started charging economy class passengers for advanced seat selection on several of its routes. Economy class passengers flying to and from Zagreb to Copenhagen, Dublin, Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm and St Petersburg, as well as from Split to Copenhagen, will be charged fifteen euros if, upon booking, they choose to sit in an exit row seat, twelve euros for priority zone seating (first two economy class rows), and ten euros for all other seats. Senator and HON Circle members of the Miles & More frequent flyer programme are exempt from the charges. Passengers who do not select a seat will be automatically assigned one at check-in free of charge. Advanced seat selection fees are becoming increasingly common across the industry. Within the former Yugoslavia, Air Serbia charges their economy class passengers for early seat selection on all flights.
