Mostar Airport continues recovery
NEWS FLASH
Mostar Airport has seen its passenger numbers improve for a sixth consecutive month in November by handling 931 travellers. The figure represents an increase of 63.3%. During the January -November period it welcomed 32.196 passengers through its doors, up 14.1%. The growth came as a result of an increase in capacity on behalf of Eurowings, which operated larger aircraft on its seasonal routes from Germany, as well as an increase in the number of charter flights to Italy, which are being run by FlyBosnia. Earlier in December, the start-up airline launched a new scheduled one weekly Mostar - Rome service with 22 passengers on board the 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft for the inaugural flight. Mostar Airport recently noted it was in discussions with two low cost carriers over the introduction of flights, with the outcome of those talks to be known by the end of next month.
