Air Mediterranean to be based in Pristina

Greek charter carrier Air Mediterranean will base a Boeing 737-400 aircraft in Pristina and replace its counterpart Orange2Fly on all routes. Furthermore, it will introduce a number of new services from the city. Air Mediterranean will progressively take over Orange2Fly’s operations to Basel, Dusseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart from February 5 onwards and will launch new flights to Friedrichshafen, Paderborn, Sharm el Sheikh, Malmo and Lyon. Orange2Fly, which was Pristina’s fifth busiest airline in 2019, during which it handled 232.669 passengers, will cease all operations from the city by the start of the 2020 summer season in late March. All of Air Mediterranean’s services have been contracted by tour operators, which have exclusive rights to sell tickets.
