Record year for Sarajevo Airport

Sarajevo Airport saw its busiest year on record in 2019 by handling 1.143.680 passengers, representing an increase of 9.3% on 2018. As a result, it added an extra 97.045 travellers. The number of aircraft movements stood at 13.671, up 1.8%, while 2.523.565 kilograms of cargo were processed. “All these metrics indicate that the records achieved by Sarajevo Airport in the past few years will continue into 2020”, the airport said.
