LOT delays Belgrade resumption over flight ban

NEWS FLASH

LOT Polish Airlines has delayed the resumption of its service between Warsaw and Belgrade due to an extension of a flight ban between the two countries imposed by the Polish government. LOT was forced to suspend the route in late November due to the measures but planned to restore it today. However, the Polish government has now prolonged the ban until December 31, 2020. The flight ban also includes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Georgia, Armenia, Jordan, and the United States (excluding the states of Illinois and New York). LOT now plans to resume flights to Belgrade on March 1, 2021.
