PHOTOS: Nordwind touches down in Belgrade

NEWS FLASH

Russia’s Nordwind Airlines inaugurated flights between Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and Belgrade on Sunday with its Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline becomes the third operator on the route following Air Serbia and Aeroflot. Due to existing coronavirus restrictions, the Russian government caps the number of frequencies on flights permitted to operate out of the country. Currently up to two weekly rotations are allowed between Moscow and Belgrade. Nordwind will maintain its service once per week. Russian and Serbian citizens can enter each other’s countries with a negative PCR test. However, passengers must travel on the nonstop service between the two capitals to avoid additional entry requirements.
