Israeli carriers resuming Belgrade operations

NEWS FLASH

Israeli carriers Israir and Arkia will resume flights between Tel Aviv and Belgrade this week after more than four months. Israir plans to restore operations on March 25 with its Airbus A320 jet. Services will run on a charter basis, with flights currently set to be maintained on March 25, April 8, April 18 and April 22. More services are scheduled for May, June and July. On the other hand, Arkia Israeli Airlines intends on resuming its Belgrade operations this Sunday, with two weekly flights to be operated, each Thursday and Sunday, with its Embraer E195 jet. Last year, between September and November, a one-way travel bubble saw several daily flights between Tel Aviv and Belgrade, operated exclusively by Israeli carries. Israel, the global leader in Covid-19 vaccinations, has allowed its citizens to travel abroad again from March 20. Those that have been vaccinated are not required to quarantine upon return if they test negative for the coronavirus.
