Aegean suspends Zagreb service for 2021
NEWS FLASH
Greece’s Aegean Airlines has suspended plans to restore operations between Athens and Zagreb this year. Services were initially to restart in April but were later moved to May. Ticket sales have now been suspended for the remainder of the year. Based on Aegean’s existing schedule, which is subject to change, the carrier will only maintain flights between Athens and Dubrovnik in Croatia, after announcing the suspension of its Split service earlier this year. In addition to Aegean’s Dubrovnik flights, Croatia Airlines will also maintain services from Zagreb to the Greek capital via Dubrovnik, with its Split – Athens route suspended this year, while Volotea will run two weekly rotations from Athens to Dubrovnik starting next month.
