Air Serbia schedules Smartwings operations
NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia has scheduled Boeing 737-700 flights that will be operated through a wet-lease arrangement with the Czech Republic’s largest carrier Smartwings. The 148-seat aircraft, registered OK-SWT, is expected to arrive in the Serbian capital today. As previously reported, it will be utilised primarily on charter flights to Hurghada and Antalya, on some days operating up to three rotations to either of the two cities. However, the jet will also be deployed on select scheduled services. These include Milan on June 25 and Podgorica on June 26, although the timetable continues to be updated, with Stockholm also initially featured on certain dates. The wet-lease has enabled the airline to increase frequencies on several routes and restore operations to others, such as Milan and Barcelona. The B737-700 will be operated by Czech crew on behalf of the Serbian carrier.
