PHOTOS: Nordwind Airlines touches down in Skopje

NEWS FLASH

Russia’s Nordwind Airlines inaugurated flights between Moscow and Skopje this Friday, linking the two cities with a scheduled nonstop air service for the first time. The airline will maintain operations on the route once per week with its 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The inaugural service was performed by a B737-800 belonging to its partner company Pegas Fly. “[Airport operator] TAV Macedonia is very happy to hear that Nordwind decided to launch flights between Moscow and Skopje, launching the first air link between North Macedonia and Russia after twenty years. We strongly believe that this unserved route up until now has great potential and will be very beneficial for both business and leisure passengers”, the General Manager of TAV Macedonia General Manager, Metin Batak, said.
