Air Montenegro to boost operations

Montenegro’s national carrier will restore flights to Frankfurt and increase frequencies to Istanbul over the coming period. The airline will resume operations between Podgorica and Frankfurt from December 18 following a three-month hiatus. Services were suspended in mid-September after Germany placed Montenegro on its list of high-risk countries relating to the coronavirus pandemic, which made it more difficult for Montenegrin citizens and residents to enter. Flights between the two cities will run twice per week. In addition, due to strong demand, Air Montenegro will add an additional weekly service, for a total of three per week, between Tivat and Istanbul starting February 15.
