Lubeck Air to launch Croatia operations

German start-up carrier Lubeck Air plans to introduce flights to Croatia with a one weekly service from Lubeck, on Germany’s Baltic coast, to Zadar. Operations are scheduled to commence on May 19 and run each Thursday until the end of the summer season in late October with the ATR72-500 aircraft. Tickets are on sale through the airline’s website. Further flight details can be found here. Zadar Airport handled 513.093 passengers in 2021, reaching 64% of its pre-pandemic traffic. The airport anticipates a strong 2022 summer season with a number of new routes to be launched, primarily by low cost carrier Ryanair.
