Air Serbia takes delivery of ATR72-600

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has taken delivery of its second of five ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft (pictured). Over the weekend, YU-ALW arrived from Montpellier to Belgrade. It is expected to enter commercial service soon. The turboprop boasts the new “Prestige” seats manufactured by Italy’s Geven. The leather slim seats, which have enabled the carrier to increase its capacity on the aircraft to 72, provide baseline features such as recline, a high literature pocket and eighteen inches in width. Furthermore, in contrast to the majority of the existing turboprop fleet, the ATR72-600s also enable passengers to store large roller bags in the overhead bins. YU-ALW is four years old, of which it has been in operation for only two. It was formerly utilised by Avianca Argentina and Myanmar National Airlines. The next ATR72-600 will be added to Air Serbia’s fleet next month and will be registered YU-ALX.
