Zagreb Airport registers second busiest April on record

NEWS FLASH

Zagreb Airport handled 255.870 passengers last month, representing its second busiest April on record after 2019. The figure marks an improvement of 373% on last year and is down just 8.9% on the pre-pandemic 2019. During the first four months of the year, Zagreb Airport welcomed 741.156 travellers through its doors, down 16.4% on 2019. The strong passenger performance is being fuelled by Ryanair which operated over twenty routes from its base in the Croatian capital in April, as well as growing frequencies by foreign carriers.
