Mahan Air ends Belgrade service
NEWS FLASH
Mahan Air has ended its limited operations between Tehran and Belgrade, which were restored in mid-May. The service was initially planned to run until mid-August but has been discontinued earlier than planned. Mahan Air has been transferring passengers to and from China on its one weekly flight operated by the 202-seat Airbus A310 aircraft and tickets were only available for purchased through tour operators. The service’s termination comes after Hainan Airlines commenced a scheduled nonstop operation between Beijing and Belgrade. Mahan Air operated two weekly seasonal summer flights between the Iranian and Serbian capitals until the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
