ETF Airways secures deal with Italy's Neos

NEWS FLASH

Croatia’s ETF Airways has signed a contract to wet-lease one of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Italian carrier Neos over the summer. The jet will be based at Bergamo Airport, operating specific routes on behalf of the Italian airline. Commenting on the deal, Neos’ CEO, Carlo Stradiotti, said, “We are very pleased with this important collaboration with ETF Airways, which represents a further growth opportunity for our business, and which will allow us to guarantee our customers the operational stability that distinguishes us, even during periods of high demand, while offering quality and high-level services”. Neos boasts its own fleet of four B737-800s, four B737 MAX 8s and six B787s. A wet-lease involves the lessor providing its aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance for the aircraft to the leasee for a set period of time.
