Air Serbia registers busiest February since relaunch

NWS FLASH

Air Serbia handled 200.743 passengers during the slowest month for the aviation industry in February, representing an increase of 150% on last year and up 30.5% on its previous best February of 2020. The carrier registered an average cabin load factor of just over 70%. It operated 2.410 flights during the month. “February is a somewhat shorter month and is considered to be the worst month for air transport in this part of the world. That did not stop us from carrying more than 200.000 passengers from Belgrade, Niš and Kraljevo in February for the first time. February is the eighth month in a row which broke the record in terms of passengers carried. We have been seeing historic results since July 2022, and judging by February, the growth trend continues. The addition of new destinations to our network will further drive interest in spring. Evidently, a dynamic summer awaits”, Air Serbia’s Head of Revenue Management, Maša Vasović, said. During February, the most popular destinations in Western Europe were Zurich, Paris, Athens, Vienna and Berlin. Regionally, Podgorica and Tivat saw the highest demand.
