Turkish Airlines will increase flights from Istanbul to both Podgorica and Tivat after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Air Montenegro at the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT) in Istanbul. The purpose of the signed agreement is to enable Turkish Airlines and Air Montenegro to achieve common goals in the provision of air transport services between the two countries, through strengthening mutual commercial cooperation. As a result, Turkish Airlines will grow frequencies between Istanbul and Tivat from three to five weekly flights starting June 2, while an additional rotation will be added on services to Podgorica for a total of twelve weekly flights from June 5.
