Turkish Airlines sees record Zagreb performance

Turkish Airlines handled a record 75.851 passengers during the January - May period according to the European Union’s statistical office - Eurostat. The figure represents an increase of 22.2% on last year and up 83.9% on the pre-pandemic 2019. Over the five-month period, the Turkish carrier registered an average cabin load factor on its Zagreb service of 82.7%. Starting this month, until the end of the summer season, Turkish Airlines will deploy its wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft once per week, each Sunday, on flights to the Croatian capital. During August, the airline will utilise the A321 (including ceo and neo) on 33 flights, the A330-200 on one service, the A330-300 on three flights, the Boeing 737-800 on five operations and the B737-900 on eighteen flights.
