PHOTOS: Air Serbia touches down in Manila
NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia has operated one of the longest nonstop flights in its history after it performed the almost 10.000-kilometre one-off charter service to the Philippine capital of Manila. As exclusively reported by EX-YU Aviation News last Friday, the Airbus A330-200 aircraft has been deployed to pick-up Serbia’s men's national basketball team, which were runners-up at the World Cup held in the Philippines. The 11-hour 25-minute flight took off from Belgrade yesterday evening. The cabin crew rostered on the return service was previously flown to Manila in order to operate the return journey. The winning German team returned to their home country on board a scheduled Emirates flight.
