Zadar Airport handles millionth passenger
NEWS FLASH
Zadar Airport welcomed its millionth passenger of the year last Friday for only the second time in its history. The millionth traveller, coming off a Ryanair flight from Memmingen, was registered almost a month ahead of last year, which marked the first time the airport handled over a million passengers in a single calendar year. "We are so pleased to celebrate this achievement. This year we are expecting around 1.25 million passengers which is 12% more than the last year. In August alone we handled 295.000 passengers, which was the busiest month in Zadar Airport's history", General Manager, Josip Klišmanić, said. Zadar Airport’s strong growth is being primarily fuelled by Ryanair, which boasts a seasonal base in the city and has increased frequencies, as well as launched new routes this year.
