Air Montenegro to dry-lease two Embraer jets
NEWS FLASH
Air Montenegro plans to dry-lease two Embraer aircraft, alongside the two jets it already owns. As previously reported, it also intends on wet-leasing a single aircraft for part of this winter and all of next summer. The Montenegrin carrier recently launched a public call seeking for a long-term lease of two aircraft in a dry-lease arrangement. Based on the tender documents, the aircraft must have been manufactured in 2006 or later. The jets will be dry-leased for between three and a half and six years, with delivery due between December 2023 and March 2024. It is possible for the contract to be extended. Only E190 and E195 aircraft in an all-economy class layout with at least 110 seats will be taken into consideration. A dry-lease is an arrangement in which the owner provides the aircraft to the lessee without crew. The deadline for the submission of bids has been set for November 16.
